Damn That's Sweet

We finally got a decent snow storm!  Two feet of snow in my front yard and no power.... heaven!!!

I was a bit disapointed when the power came back on after only 3 days, but it was a good time of rest and relaxation.  I love how snow-days are these forced sabbath days where you don't have to even feal guilty for not doing work around the house.  We played board games and card games and read books for three days strait.

Which, by the way, our 6 year old can now play Spacefareres of Catan, Robo Ralley, and modified canasta now!  We are so proud.

We like to build snow creatures out by the road so that people passing by can get laugh.  Last weeks piddly storm we built the snow ducky.  This time round, the boys were to busy building snow forts, so I built a happy alien.

Now, back to the life of ordinary.
